Eames Pvc Side Chair DSW Golden MapleΒ was designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the brandΒ Vitra.

Vitara is a Swiss furniture manufacturing company focused on turning the designs of the world’s greatest furniture minds into essential aspects of quality living, office and outdoor spaces. Ray and Charles Eames were a married couple, both industrial designers, who used primarily molded plywood to shape their furniture designs. Their work has been continued through their company The Eames Office.

The seat of the Eames Plastic Side Chair DSW Golden Maple is molded from polypropylene. The sophisticated shell is available in numerous colors, making it an elegant fit for almost any living or office space. The legs of the chair are made of maple, held together with black-coated steel, in the shape of the Eiffel Tower. The chair is also suitable for outdoor use, but has felt gliders to protect hard floors. It can be purchased with an optional seat mat or cushion, all available in the same color as the seats themselves. The cushions are round, and are two-colored and reversible. The chair seat is 43cm high, and the entire chair stands 83cm high. It is 55cm deep and 46.5cm wide.
